Ive decided that im going to get a bluetooth headset because the wires on my current headset are a tiny bit annoyingly short.

so far ive had a look round and they all seem to be designed for use with cellphones, but the 2 below I think should work fine with my pc few questions though:

http://www.notebookcity.co.nz/node/138

with this one do I need to get a seperate bluetooth reciever? and how does it charge?

http://www.notebookcity.co.nz/product/plantronics-plx-voyager-510-bluetooth-headset

This one looks as though it will work quite well so no questios with it really.

Does anyone have any other ideas of differant headsets?

with the bluetooth reciever of these devices, is it possible to syncronize (activesync) my HTC Apache over bluetooth? or do I have to buy another bluetooth reciever?

Thanks.

I am not sure the Microsoft one is Bluetooth. But in any case remember this is HEADSET, not HEADPHONES so you won't get stereo sound on those. They can work ok for things like Skype, Messenger, etc.

If you get one with a Bluetooth adapter (such as the Plantronics) then you should be good to go and use it with your Pocket PC.

It would be for use with my softphone on my computer with our asterisk server.

Might go with the Plantronics one. It does take a bite out of the wallet though, do you know of any other ones that might do the job?
