I'm sorry for such a basic question, but after searching online I'm still a bit unsure.

It turns out I can get Fibre cheaper than ultra VDSL from Voyager (current ISP). Before I ask for the switch I just need to check if my modem router is capable of fibre or if I need a new one (search brings up adsl / vdsl).

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Oh and I also have a static IP if that makes any difference?

Thanks

Yep.

Thanks so much.

The guy said it might not be any faster, depends on how close to exchange I am.
But worth a try, saves $10 a month

VDSL maxes out at 120/30 on vectoring enabled cabinets in areas not covered by Chrous fibre. 108/40 elsewhere.
