Hi

The Unifi controller software has a built in speed test pointed at a server on their network, as a result it shows a higher latency and lower speed through put than actually achieveable.  Do we have any local NZ ones that would work with it?  If not, I can deal with it but OCD tends to make me want it to be more local.

Cheers

Chris

Hi Benoire

There is a list (ex OOKLA by the look of it) of Speedtest servers in the USG. Use WinSCP or similar to log in to the USG and go to opt/speedtest/speedtest-servers.php.  Double click the file to open it and read down to find your ISP and their closest server to your location.

Enter the target into the USG Echo Server field, Apply, and you're done. eg My ISP is MYRepublic, so I use "speedtest.myrepublic.co.nz".

Hope this helps.
