thanks to the guides here, I had my active sync working over bluetooth no problems at all.

I come to use it today and when I start the bluetooth activesync connection, it connects to the pc for all of about 2 seconds and then drops the connection without any explanation.

I've re-installed EVERYTHING, right down to my TDK bluetooth adaptor and hard-rested my 4150 and still it's not working

Any suggestions please?

Are you using the Windows XP Service Pack 2 now? Have you checked that its new firewall is correctly configured to allow ActiveSync and Bluetooth communications?

If not using Service Pack 2, do you have any personal firewall software running on this machine?

Have you moved the TDK from the USB on the computer to a USB HUB? These dongles don't go well with USB HUB.

I hadn't changed anything that I am aware of.

Just tried to connect 2 days later and it kept dropping, it was working fine with with my firewall perviously
