Hi sad they have untwisted the pairs, that would fail commercial testing with a DTX, clearly done by a sparkie, otherwise good.

its that big because it has the alarm in it.

good luck fitting an ONT and a router in there. let alone a switch

only place you could put the router is where ever sky1/2 is and in the cabinet

It's longer than the normal ones because the alarm panel is in there. Biggest issue you will have is Chrous fitting an ONT into there. They might say no and have to place it outside of the comms cupboard. Even if you removed some of the bits - its going to tight - let alone any switches you might need.

Yeah phone module not needed if you need phone distribution, which I doubt, just use the spare ports on the 2nd data module

And agree ONT might need to surface mount on wall either above, below or beside.

Maybe drop the security cabinet if cable slack allows

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

pull the alarm panel out and mount it above the panel on the wall, there will be plenty of slack to mount it on the wall, then that will free up heaps more room in the cabinet

And a router??

By the way with respect to my first comment, the terminations are not good, ideally they should look more like the image below, as they are you could have poor through put, also what do the room outlets look like.

Also usually the power sockets would be in the 2 punchouts at the bottom of the cabinet, not the large 4 way outlet taking up all that space.

It's a job done by someone who cares about what they are doing. It's just a shame the way they have laid it it out as they could have stacked the alarm panel at the bottom, put the power point directly above it and still had a third of the panel as space for the rest of the networking gear.

Definitely not a perfect installation but it's decent and very tidy.
