Would anyone here mind downloading a version of HiveOS from Aerohive for me? I've got some secondhand APs that's I've configured via the CLI but I'm having some intermittent issues with DHCP on some devices. There was a fix in a previous update so I'm hoping that's what I'm seeing.

Because I'm not an Aerohive customer I can't access their download pages.

I'm looking for the latest firmware for AP121 and AP141, which I believe is HiveOS 6.5r11.

Thanks!

You can create a HiveManager NG Connect account (https://cloud.aerohive.com/login then click on the "Register" button) to upgrade the firmware and configure the access points.  No entitlement key is required.

If you then want to run the Aerohive access points independently of the HiveManager NG execute the following commands via CLI:

no hivemanager

save conf

reboot

I tried that way too. Apparently the previous owner still has the serial numbers assigned to their account so I can’t attach them to mine.

If you post on Hive Community at https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/ one of the engineers will contact you to remove the serial numbers from the redirector.  This may take longer but in the long run it means you can keep configuring and upgrading the firmware as needed.

Otherwise you can manually configure the HiveManager NG information via CLI and this bypasses the redirector.

Hi, yes if they are still assigned the redirector will need to have the serials removed, only option it to talk to TAC, they should not find it an unusual request, done it myself a few times when moving APs from schools that have been shutdown to others.

I hadn't realized that HiveManager had a free offering. After contacting their support to release the serial numbers, this was the solution I used:
