Hi

I am currently using the vodofone hg659 bridged with a Netgear Nighthawk® AC1900 Smart WiFi Router on naked broardband. I got the Netgear Nighthawk as the wifi on the HG659 did not have the range.

I am now getting fibre and plan to get it wired into the middle of the house where I currenty have the Netgear Nighthawk router sitting. Vodafone have also sent me a new ultrahub modem.

I want to now just use one modem router.

Question: Should i use the Ultrahub or the Netgear, which is better??

Thanks for your help in advance

Fraser

netgear should be fine on up to 200mbps plans but i dont think it can go gigabit plans, where as the ultrahub or the HG659 can.

As for my setup, I use the UltraHub.

Then I have the netgear Orbi (which can be used as Router) in AP mode plugged into the UltraHub.

Works perfect.

Mind you I do have a hard wire going to my TVs and setboxes
