Just bought a Class 1 BT dongle, after my other Class 2 devices. It is brilliant!! Range is superb, while talking to Class 2 devices . Question is, what is the difference? There must be some catch. Is it just that the increased range leads to more interference or susceptibility to interception? Why use a Class 2 over a Class 1 device?
