Hi gang,

One of our cats has recently discovered that the Fritzbox is a perfect place to warm her belly so she keeps draping herself over it.

It is currently on a small sideboard almost in the middle of the house (1 story plus basement)

If I wall mount it in the same place bit above the stand, am I likely to see the WiFi range/quality drop off to the parts of the house served by the "bottom" of the box, or is its coverage more spherical?

Cheers

Should be fine.

I have my Fritzbox 7390 mounted on a wall up high in the middle of my single story house. Range is good, reaches all parts of the house, though the extreme ends aren't super strong. 7490 should be fine, it's meant to have better WiFi.
