I have a problem I hope some one can help me with. I have an H4150 working with a Linksys Router. When I go to surf I keep getting page not found. The signal on my device is strong. When I check to see what network it is connected to it shows Linksys. But I can’t seem to put up any web pages like espn, or HP.com ect…

Can you download and install VxUtil? Try doing a PING of www.wired.com and then do the same PING on 209.202.221.21. If IP address works, but the name resolution fails then you have a DNS server configuration problem. If both work, try running the program welcome.exe from your \windows folder on the Pocket PC. This will recreate a couple of configuration files that may have been removed.

Download the VxUtil program, and install it on your Pocket PC. Find it on Start | Programs | Communication. On its menu you'll find the PING function. Once connected use this to ping the www.wired.com server. If it works we know your connection is ok.

If it doesn't work, ping the IP address. If it works now we know you have a problem with DNS configuration.

If the first ping works, open File Explorer on your Pocket PC (Start | Programs) and browse to \Windows. There you'll find a program called welcome.exe. Tap on it to execute the program. This will create a few configuration files. After this, soft reset your Pocket PC, connect and try using Pocket Internet Explorer again.

I have a simillar problem with an HP 5550 & a Linksys WAG54G wireless router/modem. I can connect via wireless without any problem, both devices recognise each other as connected. However I cannot get any internet access ("Web page not found") or get my email to work.
My PC works a treat (via direct connection)
I have tried the suggested solutions, but cannot PING with VxUtil (either putting www.wired.com or 209...etc ) & have running "welcome".
I previously had a WAP54G wireless router which worked fine so I am reasonably familliar with the router/HP set up.
Help!

wightdoc, in your case could it be the WEP keys, or WAP? Try using the AP without this, and if it works then enable one at a time.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately that didn't do the trick.
However after reading around I tried the following which did - I'm not sure which change fixed the problem, but perhaps you could enlighten me for future reference & for others in the same fix!
1 Encapsulation changed to RFC 1483 Bridged 0,38
2 Wireless channel changed from 11 to 1
3 DHCP disabled on pc then re-enabled
