I've been looking for a device like below that can power cycle a router or other network equipment on detection of internet outages, ping failure etc. Any other suggestions or locally sourced product recommendations?

My worry would be the device thinking it was offline and going in to a loop of reboots.

Otherwise, really easy to achieve with a relay and an arduino if you felt adventurous?

How about a Mikrotik with a script that pings 8.8.8.8 or similar every hour, and if it doea not get a response, it reboots itself. https://www.google.com/search?q=mikrotik+reboot+on+failed+ping

I use these, and they work great.

I mainly use it for the monitoring and fan control in cabinets interfaced with LibreNMS, libre just walks the device and pulls all the information from it.

It can do a ping watchdog on any of the 4 outputs or you could cycle the outputs at any given time or on a voltage or a current.

There are 2 N/C outputs and 2 N/O, but if you crack it open there is a jumper on the 2 N/O outputs to allow you to change them to N/C.

Just use netwatch and restart the dropped interface (i.e. PPPoE).
