Whilst this is concerning it re enforces the fact that tls and ssh based connections are nesseary so if you are still using http or sites that don't support https then time to do so, there is no excuse.

Also WAP3 still seems a little scarce out there.

our device folk are certainly watching the space, i can't comment past there.

 

it is worth pointing out though that our primary modem for fibre is not a hauwei device.

That could be misleading. The article states all brands using Broadcom & Cyprus chipsets are affected. Ie; not just Huawei.
