I need ur opinions beacuse i am soon to buy a new computer and i don't know what kinda to get as i am still at school i would rather the one that is better for learning i heard the apple emac is good for that whats your opinion

It depends largely on your budget. I suspect that the eMac is near the end of its life, because it's the only Apple product left with a CRT monitor, and this is a dead end technology. The G5 iMac offers much better performance.

Of course, for educational applications, you don't need a lot of processing power and the eMac is still a perfectly competent machine if you're on a tight budget. Don't forget that if you're planning on going to university, a notebook might be another alternative worth considering. The price of the iBook is very reasonable now compared to what it was when I bought mine a couple of years ago.

Ok but i am only 13 years old and i don't really like laptops and i though the emac looks kool and relieable sooo do u think it i deside to get a mac to get a newer one out?? , but as it is its all most $2000 for the e-mac with software and i just want me dad to get me a nice computer with out spending a fortune!!
