I have noticed that in the advanced section of Hardware Tab the combo that let me select the country is disabled and i have only medium and low option in the Max Trasmission combo.

The country selected is France,China .... the driver is 1.2.2.16 and my dongle is Belkin

What Belkin is this? The F8T001 (100m Class 1) or F8T003 (10m Class 2)? The Class 2 devices have no power control.

Apparently the Country selection is no longer required. France used to have restrictions (Bluetooth was illegal in France until a couple of years ago because of encryption), but this is no longer the case.

If it is a F8T003 you could upgrade to the newer version of Widcomm.

Is the F8T001 ... I look in the help and read that there is a 'High' option in the max trasmission combo but with country 'France,China' it is disabled...:(
