I'm after an extremely simple program to monitor a handful of IP addresses and report if these are online or offline.

I know there are plenty of programs that do this and I've tried a few but many are overkill for what I want to do - I'm just after something that could maybe sit in the system tray and do something simple like turn red if an IP address is not contactable.

Has anybody got any suggestions?

I got a friend to whip this up for me.... I use it for connecting to remote systems etc but Im sure he could tweak it to your liking :)
Or I can send you the package as it is.....

All it does is send out a ping at a defined interval and if it dosent get a reply, turns the "led" red.

Thats probably a little overkill for what sbiddle reqs... its a great program though, I was running it at home for a while. Soon as I get a dedicated server going, Ill be running it 24/7.
