The wireless all of a sudden for my Dlink DSL-G64T has stopped working after I did a reset to get port forwarding going.

How would that have done it? As far as I can see it should still be going

I'm sorry to say this but the G604T's are a pile of poo! :-)

I've had a 2 of them and wireless, ADSL was always loosing connection for random reasons. Also the config got corrupted moer than once, needing me to do a hard reset on it and re-enter the configuration settings.

Try powering it off for 5minutes and then back on, if that doesn't work, follow the setup wizard again to redo your Wifi settings and see what happens .. if it all still fails, hard reset it and enter all the config in again (PITA though!)

I ultimately solved my issues by buying a Netgear 834N .. no issues to report so far.

It is a truly crap router, the admin for it is so disorganised and stupid!

after a while it started working again :D

how on earth resetting it after formatting it managed to do that....

Telecom Broadband customer?

If so and the modem is less than 3 years ring the help desk and explain the problem, they will likely send you anew Thompson modem, much better than the dlink.

i have this stupid modem as well. I bought it when I was an XTRA customer. My wireless and ADSL kept dropping so last yr I rang them up and they sent me a new one but same stupid model. I am no longer an XTRA customer. Could I still call them for a Thompson modem exchange?
But yeah its a crappy modem. Worst ever.

Telecom will still honor the warranty period, so you modem must be faulty (and likely verried by your service providor) for an exchange, not just because you would like the Thomson modem.
