I am trying to connect my wifi router to my B315 Rural Broadband modem using PPOE, but this requires a login username and password.

 

I called Voda and they said just leave it blank, however the modem setup wont let me leave these fields empty.

 

How do I find my Username and password?

You can't PPPoE behind a router already doing PPP. Obviously you would use DHCP on WAN interface of wifi router given its receiving an address via DHCP from the B315.




Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

OK thanks... so I wonder why the B315 setup allows for PPOE connection if it cannot be done?

Maybe you misunderstood me. B315 can use PPPoE to connect to ISP if connected to ONT. B315 uses PPP to connect to cellular network. Router behind B315 is not connecting to the ISP, it is connecting to the B315.
