Hi everyone
I use a Dynalink RTA1320 and lately, it has been cutting out every 3 minutes or so. Very annoying when I'm trying to play online games or surf the net. What happens is that the PPP light often goes out first, followed by the DSL light. The lights can take anywhere between 2 seconds to 10 minutes to  come back on. Could someone please tell me whether this would be a problem with my ISP (Telstraclear) or my router? I have tried solutions posted on many forums to no avail :( Any help would be appreciated! (In clear instructions please, not too good with computer-speak).
Thanks!

Hi, the fact that you loose PPP may be an issue with your ISP or your modem is locking up due to load, but before you go there best to check that you modem has a good line condition. So could you post your DSL line stats as shown on page78 of the manual

i had one of these when i first signed up to orcon and it was a right piece of arse kept over heating and locking up and dropping out for no apparent reason i binned it and bought a siemens speedstream 4200 off of trademe for twenty bucks worked much better untill i got an vodafone huawei smartAX mt882 which blow the 4200 out the back door in sync speeds but has the added displeasure of ...... you got it sudden and repeated disconnects

forgot to ask can you post your sync speeds and snr and attenuation as frquent disconnects can be a result of a number of thing ranging from poor snr to faults in the modem, the filter, the cables either ethernet or phone cable dogey wall sockets and or last but not least house wiring
