I thought I had purchased another modem router to replace the standard Spark one that they provide. Turns out I just purchased the above model which is just a router.

Can I connect this directly to the fibre outlet or do I need a modem?

Obviously, I'm a bit of a newb when it comes to this.

Thanks.

Hi, the "modem" in a fibre setting is the Chorus ONT, so all you need is a "Router" to follow that, which the AX50 should do, just follow the in the following link, most TP-Link devices follow a similar setup, just find one that looks like yours.
