Hello

I have the new HTC Harrier CDMA. I can not get the phone to respond to AT commands sent via a bluetooth connections. I can get the phone to "wak up" when the commands are sent via either the serial port or DUN connection. The AT commands tell the phone to dial a phone number for a voice call instead of data.

Anyone aware of any limitations in the phones ability to respond to AT commands or is it my AT commands are wrong.

Thanks

The DUN connection will not act on your AT commands for dialing, since it's a special type of connection. The Serial one could in theory work, but it would have to be switched back to the phone side to complete the call - which I'm no sure it is.

If you test with something like +ATDT0800000000 and don't get the call through, then it won't work really...

Could you please elaborate on "the serial port could in theory ..."

Would an application have to be writen?

In hyperterminal, I can establish a bluetooth serial port and DUN connection. The only modem response I get is with DUN.

" ATD+number;, ATCDV+number;, " all respond BUSY. I have gotten a land line phone to ring occationally using DUN but only for one ring, then something shuts the connection down.

The developer of DialItNow express interest in modifing his bluetooth (Outlook) voice call dialer to accept the CDMA commands, if I knew the AT commands to gain access to the phone

Thank you

Tim
