So I want to host an FTP server (using Cerberus freeware) and I've got it set up, can view it from my internal ip (10.1.1.99) no issue. Using an old Thompson USB modem I can view it from my IP address. Using a D-Link G604T, with the ports fowarded, and the firewall selection for blocking FTP turned off, I enter ftp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx into my browser, and a pass/user box comes up, I fill it (I'm using the username and password as "anon").
"530 Login incorrect." According to Opera, and Firefox says "Alert - 530 login incorrect". Obviously this is the issue, however the logs show nothing, no query's or anything. Cerberus pops up a little icon in the corner of the screen warning a login attempt is happening.
Obviously the G604T is intervening between the Internet and FTP software. Any help?
