Latest beta version of firmware now has this fix. It’s taken a good 6 months for Ubiquiti to release a fix for PPPoe throughout issues.

NOTE - It’s beta firmware and will contain bugs and perhaps other issues so be careful in installing. Good part is that rollback is an option with console firmware unlike the network applications

I've been using beta for around a month with no issues, I just installed this today and now I'm back to normal speeds.

This is good news as was not considering upgrade of both hardware and fibre speed (currently 100/20) until this was resolved.

As a usg4 pro user, I guess Ubiquiti back porting the fix to USG4P is a long shot?

I havent been following the firmware for the USG's but if its anything like the UDM's - took them over 6months.

Looks like it's out of Beta, just turned up as an Official release for me, updated without any issue.  I wasn't affected by the PPPoe issue though.

I don't think they've included the PPPoE fix in the latest official release based on the release notes. It lists the PPPoE throughput issue as a known issue in that release.
