Hello,

I'm in the Wellington are and would like to hire a capable company to install a home network system for me. I'd love to take a few weeks and learn the basics of networking, but I've had this project in mind for about 2 years now and haven't gotten around to it. I've decided to just have a company plan, install a rack and run Ethernet throughout my house. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good service in the Wellington area? Greatly appreciate some help, thank you.

Best,

Bryan

I used Wise Wire Electrical to run ethernet through my house when I moved in a couple months ago.  Great job, they ran a port to 5 rooms and terminated it back to my basement utility room.  I handled the patching and comms side, so if you need help with that they might not be the guys.  But for the ethernet run they're great.  Cost me around $850 for the job which was done in about 5 hours.  I then had them come back a few weeks later to install some PoE cameras.

Great, thank you. It looks like maybe I'll need to hire two places, one to do the cable run and the other to do the networking equipment / setup. But hopefully both able to talk to eachother to let them know what they require!
