I have a router with 3 SSIDs, 2x 5GHz, 1x 2.4GHz

one of the 5GHz SSID doesn't like the TV

every thing i have touched will connect instantly to that one

router is rebooted (also auto reboot every Sunday)

but the TV will connect to the other 2 SSID instantly but won't connect to one of the SSID

being a little OCD, i want the TV to connect to one that it won't

I guess there are some things in life you just can't have?

Is there a special character in the SSID name or password that maybe the TV is having trouble handling correctly?

Have you tried connecting with WPS instead?

If you have multiple SSID the router should have an option to start WPS for a specific one through the web interface.

Are the two 5GHz SSIDs on different channels? What happens if you swap their channels around?

Hi,

I have a panasonic that wont connect to 5ghz it works only if I disable 802.11r on the ssid. Once its connected you can restore the setting but if the TV needs to reconnect (say its switched off) then you will have to go through the same process, so I have left it off I have  a canon printer that also has the same issue everything else works fine just these 2 devices.

SSID might be on a channel that TV doesn't support. (check the TV manual, lots of 5Ghz channels aren't available on some devices)
Does a neighbour have the same SSID? (I've seen this before)
Is there a truckload of interference on that channel? (neighbours devices, cordless landline phones)

Have you checked the password on both the router and TV?
