If you increase the exposure on the shadows you can see that the cable goes down the wall so the drip loop is out of frame. For all we know it could exist and therefore not something that can be criticized.
The only thing we could point out is the cable could be better secured against wind vibrations to prevent copper fatigue but the installer may have originally used cable ties which have since broken down in the sunlight UV.
Edit: In fact it does look like they had good intentions and used cable ties as you can see them near the base of the hockey stick. But they are a bit undersized so even black ones would fail after only a few years.
