Hiya everybody

It has been 10yrs since I installed Cat6 at home.  I am assisting a group in running some cables for Internet so UTP and also a STP cable is required for their sound desk / mixer to the stage.  Any source that you guys recommend?

As for the wallplates what do you suggest?  I know PDL is said to be more an industry standard, at home for us we just used Dynamix.

Much thanks.

Cheers.

I've been happy with http://cablesdirect.co.nz/ in the past for my home networking supplies.

Thanks for that.  I am sure I got the wall-plates from Cable Direct many years ago, do they still carry those and keystones?  Would it be wise to get PDL brand instead?

Cheers.

I usually purchase from TradeMe there are good deals to be found with installers unloading surplus cabling, wallplates etc (good quality not junk).

But PBTech stocks what you're looking for, also Cory's Electrical.

Edit: if you require cable I have ~300m of Dynamix/General Cable CAT6 spare.

Also 60m CAT 5e outdoor.

PDL wallplates are pretty standard. For Keystones etc I generally use Dynamix.
