Hi All.  My Brother in Law has had very poor speed issues for the past 2 years in his new build.  Max Internet plan getting speed tests of 100 - 200 down loads. Hard wired TV's even buffer. VF are telling him everything is fine on their side.  He is desperate to get to the bottom of the issue.  Is there anyone based in Rollleston with the expertise to help with taking a look at it for him?

TIA.

As above,  100 - 200 DL.  He dosn't have a TV Ariel at all.  Everything is streamed,  even having buffering issues with TVNZ app on hard wired late model Samsung TV's.

Assume this is a fibre connection?

Where is the router situated?
Is it next to the ONT and plugged into that directly?
Have you tried replacing that cable from the router to the ONT?
Is it a VF supplied router or something else?

Have you done speed tests with a computer plugged directly into the router?

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.
