Great looking USG-3 replacement.

Anyone have any idea when these might reach our shores? I’ve seen some pre-orders for sale at ridiculous markup, I assume it will be somewhat more reasonable when there’s an official direct NZ supply route and they aren’t constantly out of stock.

Price in the US is $129USD. Perhaps too much to ask but I’d love to see it locally for sub-$300.

We ordered one to test via YouShop that arrived a week ago. Have not been able to adopt it yet as we need to update our controller.

I’d like to grab one of the UniFi Express devices when they are back in stock in the US.

I do wish the UDR had been adoptable into our own controller.

What was your total price landed in nz via youshop? It seems criminally expensive to me but I was guessing at weight and size…

$80.76, which includes the freight cost AND 15% GST on the value of the item. I had to upload the Ubiquiti invoice. It was my first time using YouShop.

Of course a down-side is a USA power adapter comes with it, so we needed to replace that.

Maybe title of this thread should be updated to Unifi UXG Lite/Express since both are very similar devices?

There’s an existing thread on the Express, I figured they were separate enough to have different threads, but if a mod disagrees that’s fine…

That’s not too bad actually, so perhaps a shade under $300. At least the power supply is usb-c.

In that case, ignore my post. Didn't know there is an existing thread on the Express.

My UXG-Lite arrived via Youshop today and has replaced my USG-3P.

Purchased 28-Dec, arrived at Youshop 6-Jan, delivered 18-Jan.

Installed and adopted into existing setup without issues. I’m getting the same speeds as I was with my USG (~930/530) but with security features all turned on. Looks like there are better VPN server options also but haven’t played with them yet.

Impressed by the small size. Threw out the US power adapter and using a cheap 20W USB-C wall plug and cable with no issues.

Overall a really solid upgrade. Cost a little over $300NZD all up.
