I have one of these but haven't been able to find our much about it, or how it works.The general description - enables more devices, less lag, more capacity  etc doesn't tell me much or even where it gets connected.

I have an older computer with no wifi. Could it connect via ethernet cable to the tplink and enable the computer to use internet/wifi? This would be a big help as the computer is in a different room to the router.
