Hi,

Looking for some help on this one.

I have a Synology WRX560 router connected to a Spark Model Type 300 ONT.

Spark give some good advice here on settings to use for a 3rd party router:

https://www.spark.co.nz/help/internet/set-up/broadband-settings-for-third-party-modems.html

I'm reasonable IT savvy but no genius and despite many hours of trying i'm not able to get the internet up & running.

Thanks in advance !

Probably need to post the settings as you have them or else we've got no idea what may be wrong.

Thanks for pointing that out, current settings as below.

Hope this is enough info.

I'm not able to find where the ONT address goes, unsure if this is required here

Unfortunately the ISP settings don't give much away

Tried other ONT LAN ports?

What about the VLAN 10 setting you need to configure?

You don't have to do anything with MAC address.

You have to setup VLAN 10.

Also, the MTU on your screenshot is 1492, Spark recommends 1500.

Make sure you use a Cat 5e or Cat 6 between the ONT and the WRX560. That will give you a 1 GBps connection. A lower spec'ed cable will only give you 100 mbps.
