how hard is this to set up, and is it legal ?

a friend of  mine owns a bar. what he would like to do is to be able to send people who have bluetooth active phones in his bar messages of up coming events that they are going to have. has any1 done this or know how to do it and what is involed.
found this while doing a little research on the interweb

You will likely find that anything in UK is VERY heavily skewed due to population density and sheer numbers of people who have had bluetooth phones for a very long time.

Here, its a bit less - less people, less bluetooth phones, less of those with bluetooth enabled etc etc.

I used to run bars for a living, and could think of a zillion better ways to reach my punters and promote my bar, for the same outlay.

There is a free App from XDA developers called BT Spammer for Windows Mobile phones. It loads onto any WM PPC and can send messages, files, or photos to multiple phones.

You can read about it and download the cab file at the link posted below. The cab file is located in post #1
