Hi,

I have a reasonable investment in Ubuiti kit having just replaced my TP-Link hardware, however I have kept my TP-Link Camera's (All VIGI types).

I have purchased a Cloudkey (will only ever run protect and a max of 5 camera's), my question is...

I have my camera's in their own vlan , do I put the cloudkey in that same vlan or does it live in my Ubiqiti devices management vlan ?

 Regards

There is no way to get a second vlan on the cloud key, you have to have the camera traffic traverse vlans on the gateway, which is why I have not entertained the use of my cloudkey to do anything with my onvif cameras and if they want to be taken seriously as a camera provider they really need to sort out bringing up additional interfaces so that you can use vlan only networks to get to the cameras. I dont even want my camera traffic touching the gateway.
