Hi!,

I have the above CF Bluetooth card (http://bluetake.com/Products/poke2thbt100.htm) which works flawlessly in my pocketpc, but I don't have the drivers necessary to use it on my laptop (through a PCMCIA adapter).. when I insert it into the laptop windows identifies it as "Bluetooth BT0100M", but it needs a driver.

Does anyone here happen to have the same device and could email me the windows driver file, or could point me in the right direction?

thanks!

I've contacted Bluetake to find some information. In the meantime, if anyone else knows about this, please post...

And please update the e-mail info in your profile, your Forum Reply Notification and Welcome message bounced back .

Thanks for taking the time to email bluetake, I did email them earlier this week but heard nothing :(

It seems that some people have managed to get the card working with another operating system (here), but apart from that all searches seem to turn up a blank.

Why manufacturers can't just stick the drivers on the website is beyond me

Thanks again! (the email address is fixed now too!)

I've sent an e-mail to the Bluetake person responsible for arranging the products for our reviews and promotion. Let's wait for his reply.

Thanks for updating the profile!

Hey Mauricio,

Just to let you know that I finally managed to get the card working in my PCMCIA adaptor (no thanks to bluetake!).

It turns out that the brainboxes CF card uses the same chips/electronics/whatever as the bluetake card, so I managed to download the driver from the brainboxes developer site, edit it so it works with the bluetake card, and voila!

Many thanks for trying to get through to bluetake anyway!

Hello, I have the same problem, I am in touch with Bluetake support, but they keep sending me some ftp address where there is only one part of some big archive.
Could you help me goliath with your prepared drivers?

regards

Hi goliath,

followed your advice and dowloaded the BrainBoxes WinXP driver for their BT CF card. You mentioned that you had to edit it to make it work. What exactly did you do to get the BlueTake recognised? It would be great if you could email me (dc@roennau.co.uk) the details. Thanks
