Anyone else noticed a drop in wifi 'signal strength' with the OneNZ supplied Deco, as opposed to the old UltraHub?

I've noticed a significant drop when using a basic wifi extender/repeater to reach a bedroom.  Never had any problems with the UltraHub.

The BE28 has a much lower profile, but even raising up to a higher position had minimal improvement.

Perhaps the repeater unit needs to be updated?
