Bought some ultra slim Cat6a patch cables to replace my Cat5/5e cables to reduce cable clutter around my router and switch. Yet to see how they work out.

I can't comment on the Aliexpress cables, but I've extensively used the Dynamix thin cables Cat6 cables and they perform well (Where you start to run into issues is at longer lengths when also using POE).

The cables I bought were listed as 2.8mm diam. The cables are marked as Cat6a and 32awg - quite thin - will be ok for my 0.5m and 1m hook ups. Maybe only good for a max length of 10m whereas regular cables probably up to 100m.
