Was just about to buy some Cambium 4518 units but saw this which gives me pause https://www.cambiumnetworks.com/wp-content/uploads/Cambium-Networks-Company-Statement-Sep-16-2026.pdf

I don't think it would be much of a problem in my scenario running without updates but I suppose it would be an attractive target if support ends.

Someone is very likely to buy them IMHO so there will be ongoing support.  If it’s a direct competitor then there is a risk of product lifecycles being short if that company just wants the clients and not the tech.  If it’s a technology-adjacent company who takes advantage of a fire sale price for the company then you’ll be golden.

How’s your crystal ball, OP?
