Hi !

I have installed the latest D-Link Drivers and it works really fine but one thing makes me crazy...

Even when i connect with the Ipaq to the PC (Network Connect) the PC ask me to allow the Connect from my Ipaq. I can click then "Yes - do this everytime from now" and then i can
connect without this "Ask-Windows" until my PC makes a Reboot....

Is there any way to turn this Security function off ?

Thanks for help !!!!

Danny

I have the same with TDK Beta 1.4. I think it's a bug, and I've reported this to TDK. Perhaps DLINK released the software before all bugs were ironed out?

TDK posted on a newsgroup a message saying they'll release the new 1.4 version after a few bugs are fixed. I imagine this is one of the problems found.

In my case the iPAQ connects fine with my desktop. It's when I try connecting from my notebook that I notice this behavior.

No problem. Just got a reply from TDK and they're still testing this new version. I've reported this behavior and they're going to follow up.

Nice.

But if TDK release a new Version then it will work only with TDK Product´s ?

What is doing Widcom ? :) They release the drivers and the Company´s like TDK and DLINK do the "finetuning" ?

Have a nice Day. (or better Night) :-)

Yes, it'll work with TDK only, but I know some people tweak these files to work with other products. I actually don't know if Widcomm just supply a reference product, and each company is free to add/remove functionality...
