Hi there,

I'm trying to get the BT LAN access driver working on my PC (Acer BT-700, XP SP1, AMD 761) but after the installation has finished the system complains about the network cable being unplugged on the installed BT LAN access driver/virtual network card.

I reinstalled the BT suite / BT LAN access driver several times but without success. Upon installation an entry in the event log is created (Source: NetBT: Initilialisation failed because the driver couldn't be created).

All other BT profiles (OBEX, PIM, Serial, Fax etc.) are working properly.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks in advance!

That is the normal state for the driver, when you do NOT have an active bluetooth connection. It is trying to tell you, that you are not connect to another bluetooth device. Set up a connection and you will see it change to connected!
