I am trying to connect Laptop (XP) to Mobile Jetstream via BT USB Dongle, SonyEricsson T60c with DBA 10 BT Adapter, Widcomm BT Drivers/Software etc. When I eventually made a connection it was only running at 9600kbps(shown on phone screen), and wouldn't actually connect to POP/SMTP.
Using same S/ware, Dongle I successfully connected with my Nokia 6310i (after firmware upgrade) via GPRS. Any tips appreciated.

You have to make sure every single port involved, including the modem, the virtual com port, etc. every port that is part of the data path is set to 115200bps. It says in the Ericsson High-speed addendum for the T60c that other speeds just won't be as effective. I think that's true because I personally previously hadn't been able to get other speeds.

If you are wanting to use the Telecom Mobile Jetstream feature, here's the settings to be used (same as the Camera's settings):

Number is #777
Username is mobile@jamamobile
Password is telecom

I'm curious as to the reason what exactly is jamamobile - the server end suite?

If you still have trouble, you should make sure you have the T60c Data/Fax modem installed on your computer - to do that, go to the SonyEricsson site, look up the T60c and find the .inf file on the Global Support section. Then, install the "modem" to the same com port as what Widcomm uses for it's Bluetooth connection modem. Doing this should work. Once again, make sure everything has the right speed!

Give a yell if you can't get it working - I spent quite a bit of time tearing out my hair about this to start off with. I also found I can use Bluetooth to play with SonyEricsson's MyPicture software. Still can't seem to get XtendConnect working through it though, so any suggestions would be nice :P

Actually, 9.6 is what it will show all the time on the phone unless there's actually activity and then the display will indicate the speed of transfer. If you connect to a circuit switched based number (i.e. dialup ISP) then you'll see it shows 14.4 So after all that crap, you might be doing it alright...
