hi ya guys

forgive my ignorance, but i can't seem to find an answer to my Q. im trying to do files transfer from PC to PC by using a USB bluetooth adaptor. since PC is not like laptop (equipped with bluetooth driver), is this possible at all ? what is/are the requirement(s) to make this happen, apart from buying 2x usb bluetooth dongle for each computer?

really appreciate your help.

thanks
:)

Yes its possible, but wouldnt it be easier & faster to hook them up with a network cable instead?

I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code

im trying to avoid using cables as i have too many cables already. besides, i only have 1 network plug in each computer which has been used to connect to the router anyway.

if this bluetooth method is not possible, then i might have to use usb cable.

You only need two Bluetooth USB adapters. Install the software before plugging the adapters. Then you pair the PCs and use the File Transfer provided by the software. Just that.

Mind you this can be ok for small files, but it will be really slow for any large file.
