Hello, I've spent hours and hours looking for a solution and still nothing! I'm trying to use my PC's Internet Connection over bluetooth. I'm using Windows XP x64 v.1433 (Should be the same as XPSP2)

http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=1285
tells me to right click the icon and go to "Advanced Configuration" Mine doesn't have that. I have...

Add Bluetooth Device
Show Bluetooth Device
------------------------
Send a File
Recieve a File
------------------------
Join a Person Area Network
------------------------
Open Bluetooth Settings
------------------------
Remove Bluetooth Icon

Maybe there is a way instead of using PAN (Personal network) making it a normal network connection?

It looks like you're using the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack. This software will not give your the option of sharing the connection via ICS and acting as a server, but...

You don't say what PDA you have, but if you're using a PDA with Widcomm software you can host a PAN. In this case you can bridge the connections on your PC, and join from your PC to your PDA. Just make sure the PDA has a static IP address and the correct DNS settings.

Also make sure there's no software firewall blocking any communications. I recommend installing VxUtil on the Pocket PC, and after the connection you can PING some known hosts by name and IP.

Open the Network configuration, highligh both connections, right-click and select Bridge. Make sure you create a Restore Point before doing this!

For the PDA, use the Connections, Advanced and select Network Cards. The Bluetooth adapter will be there. But this should only work with Widcomm drivers (HP iPAQ, Dell Axim and PDA2k devices).

The Bridge connection is greyed out you say... So something is telling Windows that this option is not available. Either you have ICS set, or this option is disabled, or your user is not part of the Administrator group.

You have to sort this configuration problem first, not much anyone else can do...

Nope, not grey... the option is just not there at all. Bluetooth has its own branch under "Personal Area Network"
