Hello still a newbie I am afraid and need some info on connecting USB printers over a Bluetooth link.

Do I just need a dongle on the computer (usb to bluetooth) and a simialar dongle on the printer (Bluetooth to usb)? They are bidirectional are they not?

I have the Widcom software installed and working on file transfer to mobiles etc, but am not sure what I need to drive my two printers (Deskjet 840C and an Epson Stylus Photo R300)

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks in advance,

Bryce

It should work ok, if the Bluetooth dongle on your computer supports the hardcopy profile (most Widcomm and Microsoft do). However I think it's not easy to find a Bluetooth to USB adapter. The most common printer adapters are the Bluetooth to serial type.
