Trying to get DUN to work from my PC to my P1i Voda fone.

Fire up DUN and the BT connects to the phone and I can see network activity. But on the PC if I display ipconfig/all while I can see ip addresses for DNS which look like Vodafone's the gateway address is 0.0.0.0. So while the PC is trying to send packets out which increase the outbound packet size, because of the non existent gateway address, no packets come back.

For DUN I am dialling *99#**1 which has always worked for me.  I get an authenticated message on the network from Windows (Vista) and ipconfig shows the following

PPP adapter BluetoothConnection:

   Connection-specific DNS Suffix  . :
   Description . . . . . . . . . . . : BluetoothConnection
   Physical Address. . . . . . . . . :
   DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
   Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
   IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.181.58.203(Preferred)
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 0.0.0.0
   DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 202.73.198.16
                                       202.73.206.16
   NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled

Apart from the Default Gateway, this looks okay to me.

Just wondering if anybody has any other ideas I should be looking at

Thanks

You say "which has always worked for me"... Have this connection to this specific handset worked before?

Also, have you used this specific SIM card for a successful connection before?

The answer is yes to both questions. Internet on the phone works okay. The only other thing I can think of which doesn't really seem reasonable is, the phone used to be on the 200Mb plan. I then cancelled the plan and went to $1/10MB. That worked then. Recently (in the past couple of months) I have switched to the 100Mb plan and (I can't say it's a coincidence) now it doesn't work. I can't believe it's the plan but I guess I could call Vodafone and ask somebody
