Heya,

I hada dlink dsl-302g modem that died, it was replaces with a SMC modem - http://www.smc-asia.com/products03.php?Fullkey=44

Everything is setup and working however I cannot send email from my outlook account

The email I am using is hosted by DMD services so my outgoing server is pop3.dmdservices.co.nz port 110 no ssl
The smtp server is smtp.xtra.co.nz port 25 no ssl

Is there a way that the modem could be blocking traffic?

The same account settings are used at work and no problems have occured. So this just leads me to think that it is a network problem at home...

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

I was using the old ones for a while, then something decided to make them not work.

Had to change to the new ones, send.xtra.co.nz 465 SSL

Can you try on another computer, do you have the same issues?
