Hello, unsuccessfully i tried to update the firmware on my Billionton USB bluetooth device. Now the device name has changed (now has the "in DFU State" appended) This to me suggests that the device is in some sort of firmware upgrade mode awaiting new firmware. In this state the OS (XP SP2) will not accept any drivers for the device. An attempt to re-use the firmware upgrade utility fails as it is looking for a non DFU state device in order to put in DFU state and perfom the upgrade.

Is there a utility that can return my device back to normal state so i can at least install the system drivers or retry the firmware upgrade?
