hey guys, just signed up with slingshot for my internet.

but my router wont seem to work properly, i have linked a picture with how I have set up the router.
it is a 3com ADSL Wirless 11g Firewall Router - model number WL-542.

I tried to find some drivers for it but there doesnt seem to be any, could this be a the problem?

Drivers are normally only needed when a adsl modem/router is connected via USB to your PC. If your PC is connected to the router via network cable you do not need any special drivers. If you can get to the router admin ui in a web browser you don't need any special drivers.

I would double check you are using the correct username and password for your new slingshot account.

if you are connecting via WIFI try connect it up via Ethernet and see if you can access the internet

Also the screen shot made me giggle when I noticed the title of of the 1st IE window on the taskbar.

thought u would like that lol :)

um i have it connected via ethernet cable, have double checked the account name and password and they are right, so the pcr/scd/mbr settings etc are correct? because i just left them at default

all sorted, thanks for the replys guys. changed the encapsulation to lux or woteva it is and they fixed it, stupid it guys at slingshot dont know wot they talkin bout!
