I'm using a Belkin Bluetooth Dongle on my desktop PC to access my Acer N30 PDA via ActiveSync, this works fine.

The problem is intermittently my internet connection on the PC locks up for between 15 - 30 seconds - that is when I click on a link nothing happens. When the page does decide to load it loads at my normal ADSL speeds.

I have switched BT off on both devices but the same problem occurs. If I try to CTL-ALT-DEL to shut down BTtray and the BTstackerserver the PC crashes.

The only solution is to uninstal the Widcomm Software, my internet connection then returns to normal but no Bluetooth :-(

Can anyone offer a solution

Thanks

Are you using the original drivers from the manufacturer or a third party download?

Have you configured your firewall (if any) to allow these communications?

Thanks for your speedy reply.

I'm using the Belkin supplied Widcomm drivers. The Firewall settings are ok because the page clicked on does - after about 30 seconds begin to load. Without the drivers installed the pages load instantly.
