Yeah, so i baught Palm's WiFi card for my Zire 72. its pretty buggy, sometimes it will just crash for absolutly no reason while im using WebPro or VersaMail. i have a slimmed down version of AIM for Palm but everytime i try to use it, it crashes and gives me a fatal alert. i dont know how much longer i can stand this thing crashing. im starting to wish i buaght a PocketPC.

the most common error message i get is....(in bold)

Fatal Alert
DataMgr.c,Line:9529, Index out of range

(Reset)

now, i will keep getting this error until hit the reset button on the back while holding the up button on the directional pad.

if anyone has any clue whats goin on with my zire, please drop a line.

Short of buying a Pocket PC, I suggest you backup your Palm, and hard reset it. Then install one application at a time, starting with the Wi-Fi drivers. It seems that some hack or component is causing this problem.

After installing an application, test the Palm and see if it performs well. Then go to the next application, and so on. And make sure you move the files from your Backup folder to another location, otherwise they'll be restored when you synchronise the Palm for the first time after the hard reset.

Thanks for the sugguestion. that is what i did when my palm did this before, then again i guess thats what i get for downloading palm applacations off of bear share. so thats most likely explanation of my problems.

thanks again!
