Can someone help and i dont mean with my spelling (LOl), I've been trying to connect my laotop and my desktop together via a bluetooth LAN and i'm constantly getting errors like "connection failed" or "could not connect" the laptop is XP home and the desktop is XP Pro

First, start checking this guide.

Next make sure you don't have a personal firewall blocking this communication. If you do, then you may need to create rules or change settings for security levels to accomplish this.

i tried the guide and what you said and i'm still getting could not connect to the remote device form the desktop and service not found from the laptop ?

any ideas

Is the Bluetooth adapter using the Widcomm/Broadcom Bluetooth software, or some other software? Not all devices support Internet Sharing or LAN Access.

Check firewalls again.
