We have a Linksys AG 300 ADSL2 Gateway.
We have a Apple Airport Express  running our wifi settup.

My Macbook quite often appears to loose connection to the Internet through the day.
Easily resolved by resetting the router.
No big deal but all the same a PITA.
Any ideas as whats going on/wrong.quick fixes??

Is it the same time every day that this is happening, or do you think its random?

Not sure

Think it just happens.

Not aware of anything "going on" at the time. Some days it happens numerous times.
Im on holiday at moment so probably notice it more too.

You may want to contact your ISP and find out if the connection is actually completely dropping off or if you still appear to be connected at their end. That will give a better indication of what the issue may be.

That means your internet connection isn't dropping out your connect to the wireless access point is dropping out. generally a connection drops out because it loses a signal and will reconnect when the signal comes back. (one example i can think of is a hot water cyclinder sitting between you adn the Ap turns on and distrupts the signal or a microwave being turned on etc).

However you shouldnt need to reset the router to fix this. I would suggest looking for any firmware upgrades you can do as it may be a software issue ont he router. try changing the location of the router and see if it happens more or less frequently, if no change you may have a faulty router or the signal is too weak.

Flamer.
